Tutorial 1: Blogging, what is it?

1. Blogging, in somewhat over simplified way, is likened to a series of letters that are published on the Internet where anybody who has access to the Internet may be able to read them.

2. The question is asked: Why blog?

* Grandpapa then expresses the opinion that blogging will give a ’sense of power’ and he likens it to the ‘power’ that people enjoy when they are well known.
* Grandpapa also expresses a commonly held view that it is possible to earn lots of money by blogging.
* The idea that people blog as a vehicle for their creative urges, or just to share some of their inner feelings and experiences are not brought out in the diaglogue.
